There are some round depressions on this wall made from the attack of cannon balls in a war. These attacks were made from Jaipur and despite of those attacks the fort stood tall and strong.

2. The Loha Gate

There is another gate called Loha gate. Various musician and dancers can be seen performing their arts on the way to Loha Gate. The journey to this gate is quite cheerful. There are two opposite walls in this gate. One containing the last handprints of the women that left this fort to commit Sati and the other contains the handprints of 5 queens of Mehrangarh Fort.

3. The Seesh Mahal

As the name suggests this place in Mehrangarh fort is full of beautifully designed and uncarved glasses. The ‘Glass Palace’ was the bedroom of Maharaja Ajit Singh. The roof of this room is completely made by glass that makes it the center point of attraction. The Seesh Mahal is stunning with its vibrant floral patterns scattered by mirror work and vibrant depiction of Indian mythology.

4. Phool Mahal

Phool Mahal means Palace of Flowers. This place was built by Maharaja Abhay Singh as private men’s room. You can find every color here from ornate gold to colorful blue and green. This place served as the party room to the royals of the fort for the celebrations of victories, birthdays and private meetings. There are paintings of royal family on the walls of this place. The flawless ceilings, perfectly carpeted floors and colorful windows depicts nothing but royalty of this fort.

5. Takhat Nivas

This place served as the room of Maharaja Takhat Singh who was very much fond of the art. Takhat Nivas is very beautiful and full of paintings from Hindu mythology. There are X’mas balls hanging from the ceiling of this room that were a gift by the British. This place is very pleasing to the eyes. There is a small bed in the middle of the room that was crafted small so that the foot of the king can touch the ground to feel the danger.
