Maharajas' Express Facilities

The well-appointed and elegant restaurants of the Maharajas Express: Mayur Mahal or Peacock Restaurant and Rang Mahal or Haveli Restaurant serve a variety of cuisines including traditional Indian food and continental, in a relaxing and royal ambience. Around 42 persons can sit in each of these dinning cars at a time. These modestly furnished and decently adorned cabins have been designed in order to provide comfort and enough space to its guests.

Safari Bar is an on-board bar with an enchanting royal ambiance, which is well stocked with the finest variety of domestic and international brands of wines and spirits. The bar also offers non-alcoholic beverages. You can enjoy the sip of your favorite wines and spirits along with experimental cocktails.

Guests can relax in the pleasant ambiance of Rajah Club, reclining on the comfortable arm-chairs. The guests can have pampered and relaxed moments there. It is attached with the bar and is equipped with games tables.

Maharajas Club is a luxurious observation car that comprises of relaxing chairs for the guest to recline on and observe the beautiful landscape. It also has a library and a personal bar along with a souvenir shop (which is considered to be an ideal place to collect memento and socialize with fellow travelers).

Guests can enjoy complimentary transportation for off train excursions at every destination. During sightseeing, the guests of Deluxe Cabins and Junior Suites will be accommodated in deluxe coaches whereas; guests of Suites and Presidential Suites will be provided cars. The guests will be provided with complimentary kits which consist of candies, bottle coolers, tissues, shoe uppers and others.

Guests can access high speed internet available on board the train. While the train is on the move, signals can vary but when it is at a halt, the signal gets improved.

Internet is available through Wi-Fi facility throughout your train travel. But, the availability and speed of the internet changes from one destination to another. The speed of the internet will not improve while the train is at halt.

Guests can avail the services of Porters, which are appointed at embarkation and disembarkation points to assist their luggage.

A Personal Butler remains at the service of the guest round the clock in each carriage on board the train.

The luxury train has the voltage capacity of 110/220 volts. The train also provides International adapters on-board.

Professional English speaking guides will accompany you during your off the train excursions. Guests can inform about their requirement of language speaking guide at the time of booking.

Avail the calling facilities on-board as Telephone. Additional call charges will be imposed as the cost of Journeys does not include these expenses.

The train takes utmost care of its hygiene and so requests its guests to cooperate with the staff, while allowing them to change linens of bed and bath every day.

The train provides the facility of electronic safes in all its cabins, where you can keep your passport, travel documents, cash and other necessary things safe. It is recommended to get all your personal stuffs insured.

Hair dryers are also available in all the washrooms on board the train.
